Etoilo Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Etoilo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our application, which helps business owners automatically respond to customer reviews using AI.
This policy applies to the Etoilo web application hosted at https://app.etoilo.com and to all related services.
2. Data We Collect
When you sign in and use Etoilo, we may collect the following data from your Google account (with your explicit consent via OAuth):
Your Google Business Profile name and location details
Customer reviews posted on your Business Profile
Your basic Google account information (email address, name, profile picture)
We do not access or request any other Google data beyond what’s needed to provide our core functionality.
3. How We Use Your Data
We only use your data to provide or improve features within the Etoilo app:
Automatically generate AI-powered responses to public Google reviews
Notify you when low-rated reviews require manual approval
Help you manage responses across one or more business locations
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, resale, or any unrelated purpose.
4. Data Storage and Security
Etoilo is built on Supabase, a secure platform that uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, TLS) and role-based access control.
We may temporarily store:
Your business profile ID and basic metadata
Review data for the purpose of displaying and replying within the dashboard
Response logs to improve user experience
We do not store or log sensitive OAuth tokens or private Google user data beyond what is necessary to operate Etoilo.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties — under any circumstance.
Your data is never used for:
Advertising (targeted or otherwise)
Retargeting or remarketing
Credit or financial scoring
Training AI models externally
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data only as long as necessary to operate the platform. If you no longer wish to use Etoilo:
You may request full deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at [email protected]
Upon request, your account and stored data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days
7. Limited Use Disclosure
Etoilo’s use of Google user data complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use your Google data to provide you with the core app experience, and we do not use this data for any other purposes.

8. In-Product Privacy Notifications
You will find clearly labeled in-product notices explaining when and how your Google Business data is being used inside the Etoilo dashboard.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by email or through a notification in the app. Your continued use of Etoilo constitutes your acceptance of any updated policy.
